Places in San Antonio I Really Want To Go Back & Experience Again Pt. 2

๐Ÿ”ฒMcNay Art Museum
I would take great joy seeing this place again. It would be an inspirational and magical experience. The last time I was here was when I was fourteen. It was during the winter time. It was one of those father/daughter family visits๐Ÿ™„. I especially adore their art sculptures, including the gift shop!๐Ÿคฉ Some of them were absolutely breathtaking! I for one like visiting during the McNays free days. I believe they were originally on Tuesdays but they changed it to Thursdays and Sundays at specific hours. If your not from SA and your an art enthusiast, like myself, this place is a must see. For more information, check out their website. Here's the

๐Ÿ”ฒSan Antonio Botanical Gardens
I have both good and bad memories of this place. I cant put a percentage on which out-weighs the other, but what I can say is that this place has always inspired me. Not just in my artworks but also in my spirituality. Getting back to nature and finding that all life comes from Gaia. We mustn't take her for granted, nor should we abuse her anymore than we already have. There is no Earth number 2; we all must treat her with respect and love. For Mother Gaia is the only one were going get, and if we don't do something to change our disgusting ways, she's going to put us in a permanent time-out. We belong to nature, NOT the other way around, don't get it twisted. San Antonio's Botanical Garden is a beautiful place. It has taught me through out my life so many vital subjects about nature's environment. If you are one that loves green organisms, magnificent art or just likes to soak in the tranquility of plants, this place is for you. The website is below for more information that you will need to visit.

๐Ÿ”ฒ San Antonio Zoo & Aquarium
Oh boy, where to start with this one. Ever since I was very young, I've always enjoyed the majestic beauty of all animals. Although I didn't like that they were in cages. When I got to an age were i could ask full questions and understand the answers. Example, "Why is the big kitty caged, momma? Shouldn't she be in the wild?" I remember my mother precisely telling me at leopard exhibit why some animals need to be in cages because of important reasons. Reasons like, the animals habitat could've been destroyed.  Or that she/he could've been abandoned. Or that the animal is a rare/ endangered creature that needs to be saved. These topics really made me rethink a lot of my assumptions about the caged animals. I guess from a child's view it's different, but since then I understand that these creatures are there for a reason, and it's not just for our entertainment. I really like how this place strives to make their zoo educational and fun at the same time. In my middle school years I would take my drawing pad and sketch out as many creature that I could. I later found that taking pictures of the animals was much easier to go by. This place is an absolute must experience! However, I do recommend you go during the time of season that isn't scorching hot. San Antonio's weather is ALWAYS unpredictable. I'm no weather girl, but I do reccomend for those who love to have fun and exciting animal adventures to do some forcast research before you travel to the zoo. This also goes for  any outdoor event location here in SA. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Here's the website link for more information: https://sazoo.org/

๐Ÿ”ฒNorth Star Mall
This place is SO AWESOME!! Who can resist not getting their picture taken in front of the famous Cowboy boots? ๐Ÿ˜‰North Star Mall is great place not just for shopping but also hanging out with ones family and friends. I have a lot wonderful memories of this mall. When this whole pandemic is over, this will be one of the many places I will have to go back and check out. I most definitely must experience it again.
