🔲Alamo Cenotaph Monument Story: Almost all my life my grandmother would talk about our great ancestor who was one of the Alamo defenders. His name was Ambrosio Rodriguez, and as my grandma put it, "he was a cluts." What she was saying Ambrosio was accident prone. He would trip over his boots, bump into people, drop and break things. She would also mention that even though this ancestor of ours didn't perish at the Alamo, the Rodriguez energies still lingers up and down that staircase. At that moment of my life I thought my grandmother was full of herself but in fact she wasn't. When I was 9 years old my 4th grade class took a field trip to the Alamo. Once we got there we were given a tour. Inside the place, my class got close to a stairway that was closed off.
