✏Sketch out a drawing a day✏
Even if it's a stick cowboy figure riding a stick figure pony, practice makes perfect. Drawing a different thing everyday helps build your artistic skills and inspirational thoughts tremindesly. It really doesn't have to be perfect, all that matters is that you did your best and you had fun with it.

💡TIPS💡#1) Always use a mechanical pencil when drawing. With this method, you know when you draw too hard, the led breaks.
#2) It is always wise to draw softly on your page, so when you make a mistake you wont have a dark mark permanently there when you go to erase.
#3) Before you start illustrating, take a piece of computer paper and put it under your artists hand. This prevents your drawing from getting smeared.

✏Look online to get inspired✏
Exercise your drawing skills by going on other sites such as Pinterest or DeviantArt to see what kind of art challenges they have. For example....⬇️⬇️⬇️ via Pinterest
✏Another great thing about Pinterest or DeviantArt is all the step-by-step drawing picture tutorials.✏ Here's a couple of ones that inspired me. The picture of the doodles below are mine                                ⬇️⬇️⬇️
🎨Know your color wheel🎨
What is a color wheel? A color wheel is a circular diagram of the spectrum used to show the relationships between the colors. It's an abstract illustrative organization of color hues around a circle, which shows the relationships between primary colors, secondary colors, tertiary colors etc. The purpose of the color wheel is to show the relationship of colors so that we can create the exact shade, intensity or tone of color you desire. Our primary colors are Red, Blue and Yellow and cannot be made by mixing together any other colors.

🎨Working with colors🎨
It is indeed very helpful to know your color wheel, including color opposites and mixing colors. For example, the opposite of red is green, the opposite of blue is orange. More examples are below⬇️
💡TIPS💡#1) If you don't have an artist's pallet, no worries. Take a light weight ceramic plate and cover it with one layer of aluminum cooking foil. I always use the heavy duty kind just in case of scraping accidents. In this way, it's an easy way to clean and discard of the foil.
#2) When your all done with the paint brush, immediately wash them off with regular water. Never let them sit in water. When I use my acrylic paints, once I am all finished with the project I go to the sink and thoroughly wash my paint brush(es). That way you dont end up destroying your tools and having to go back to the craft store to buy more.

🎨Color Mixing Experimenting🎨
It never hurts to experiment. Mixing different colors to see if they're the right tint is a great way to sharpen your painting skills. For example: if you mix red and white together, you get pink. While if you mix blue, red and some white you get a purple. Test your color skills out, and dream colorful dreams!

~Drawing and Painting can be fun and also very therapeutic. Its great for your mind, body and spirit. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜
